Seascape, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment
Aquatera provides landscape and visual impact support for both small-scale local developments and large, complex consenting programmes. We tailor visualisation and assessment tools to make potential change clear and accessible to stakeholders.
We work in collaboration with horner + maclennan, a design-led landscape architecture practice based in Inverness. Their expertise in landscape design, masterplanning, and environmental assessment complements Aquatera's environmental consultancy and consenting experience, allowing us to offer a fully integrated LVIA service across a wide range of project types and scales.

Our Experience
We bring a strong track record across rural and remote settings - particularly the Highlands and Islands. Our method is evidence-led and proportionate: the guidance and level of assessment are selected to suit the project and its likely effects, from focused visual appraisals for smaller proposals through to full LVIA and EIA chapter delivery for major developments, including cumulative assessment where required.
