Emma joined Aquatera as a consultant in 2025. Emma studied Geography at the University of Glasgow before pursuing an MSc in Renewable Energy Development at Heriot-Watt's campus in Orkney, where she was originally born and raised.

Emma has a breadth of experience across roles in the private, public and third sector - predominantly on publicly funded services supporting businesses and third sector organisations in their transitions to net zero. She is also a trained ISO Internal Auditor. Passionate about Environmental and Social Justice, Emma is delighted to be bringing her skills to projects across Aquatera's portfolio.
