Description - Navigable scenes created
from wide angle photographs, computer-corrected to remove lens distortion. The user is positioned in the middle of a scene and can rotate their
viewpoint in any direction, rather like standing on a spot and turning
your head to look around and up and down.
Applications - Apart from the obvious
aesthetic applications, this kind of panorama can be used to orientate
people to a location, indoors or outdoors, by allowing them to explore
it before being exposed to it.
Software Requirements - None. |
