Iain Ashman Designs are based in Stromness, Orkney. Iain has an outstanding reputation for artistic and detailed design. He has previously worked as chief designer and illustrator at Usbourne Books, a leading children's book publisher, and now is also well respected for his work in a number of other areas including corporate information, training materials, educational resources, environmental awareness products, model design and drafting and corporate brand imaging.

Model Design
Iain has developed a particular skill at model design and drafting and has produced over 20 previous projects including the Coliseum; to the Titanic and the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. His attention to detail and appreciation of the key technical aspects to be highlighted in an illustration mark him apart from other artists and his work is highly in demand throughout the world. He has worked on a number of environmental projects over the last 6 years, in many cases working with Gareth.
