Tamsin has a broad range of experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors. She worked as a planning and environment solicitor in London, before spending five years in Brussels, initially as a journalist and then in the food industry, focusing on environmental policy. She became Director of Public Affairs and Planning for the Design Council back in London and then moved to Scotland in 2002 to be Head of Public Affairs and Marketing for RSPB Scotland. Tamsin has worked as an independent consultant in Orkney since 2007, specialising in communications and environmental policy.
