Sharon Youssefi, BSc MSc

Sharon joined Aquatera in 2007. After graduating from the University of Glamorgan in Wales with a BSc (Hons) in Energy and Environmental Technology, she worked for a year at the University on a soil bioremediation project. She then spent one-and-a-half years as the Energy Officer for Merthyr Tydfil CBC. After taking a year out to travel, Sharon then joined the South East Wales Energy Agency as Local Energy Support Programme Co-ordinator, before moving to Orkney in 2006 to complete an MSc in Renewable Energy Development at the Heriot Watt International Centre for Island Technology (ICIT).
