Ingrid Austin, BSc MSc

Consultant (Renewable Energy & Environmental Science)

Ingrid joined Aquatera in July 2010. Prior to this, she attained a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science (Geography) at Stirling University. She then worked for 3 years as an Energy Advisor to local authorities and individual householders with the Energy Efficiency Advice Centre based in Kirkwall. This role provided energy efficiency renewables advice throughout the Northern and Western Isles of Scotland as part of the Energy Saving Trust’s network.

Having enjoyed working in the energy efficiency and renewable energy arena in the UK, Ingrid then won a scholarship to study in Iceland at the Reykjavik Energy Graduate School of Sustainable Systems (REYST) where she specialised in district heating, and gained her MSc in Sustainable Energy in 2010.

Since joining Aquatera, Ingrid has been a key contributor to a number of Environmental Impact Assessments.
