Fiona joined Aquatera in October 2008, after completing an MSc in Renewable Energy Development at the Heriot-Watt International Centre for Island Technology (ICIT) in Orkney. She first graduated from Glasgow University with a BSc (Hons) in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Following this she spent two years working at the University of Dundee as a laboratory technician. She then completed PhD in Cell Biology at the University of Edinburgh. Fiona has a particular interest in marine renewable energy, biofuels and resource assessment.
