Fairwind Statkraft (Orkney) Ltd
Aquatera provided Fairwind Statkraft (Orkney) Ltd (FSOL) with environmental surveying support in relation to scoping and proactive consultation for a proposed major onshore windfarm development in Orkney. Bird surveys were conducted at eight sites throughout Orkney’s Mainland and South Isles. Also, a Virtual Terrain Programme (VTP) 3D visualisation tool was developed, in conjunction with NorthStar New Media, to allow proposed windfarm developments to be created and viewed on a virtual landscape.
