Bulgaria Tide Information
The Black Sea does not have natural periods of resonance which align closely with either the diurnal or semi-diurnal tide raising forces. Hence it does not respond vigorously and, consequently, no significant tide is generated. The Black Sea does respond marginally, however, but the tide is only what is called centimetric, somuchso that it has no appreciable tide, which for safe navigational purposes can be taken to be less than one foot or 0.3 metres.
