Alison Skene, BSc

Consultant (Ecology & Communication)

Alison has been with Aquatera for over five years, after ten years with Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH). She has a botanical background, wide experience of on-the-ground surveying techniques, a strong feeling for community issues and an extensive network of contacts across Scotland and wider afield. Alison therefore has excellent vision regarding key sensitivities and approaches to overcoming them. She has been deeply involved in a number of Aquatera’s projects where public engagement was required, and has also co-ordinated many of Aquatera’s environmental surveying activities.
